My five year informed me today that it would not matter if bad people told him he could no pray. I said something like "oh really" and admit I was only halfway listening. He looked in my face and then said "it is so amazing mom". Now he has my attention and I look into those Eric bright blue eyes and ask what is so amazing. He says this..."I can think and talk to God inside my brain without my mouth ever moving, so if bad people ever told me to stop talking to God, they could not stop me".
Wow, did I mention this is the thought process of a five year old. I smile and hugged him and said..."Eric you totally get it."
I am blessed to see how a young boy grasps the relationship that is so easy. A relationship that does not ever need to be hindered by "bad guys". Thanks Lord Jesus for Eric and his heart that loves you and has discovered that he can talk with You always.
